MOUNTED GAMES OAKLEY FRIENDLY
Our Mounted Games is going well - a good start to the year!At the moment, we have one mixed team, and they started the season with a bang by coming 6th out of 21 teams, with only HOYS teams ahead of them! Harvey Roberts, Todd Roberts, Georgie Morris and Megan Targett. Anyone who wants to join in with Mounted Games, please contact Debbie Roberts - see Contacts.
Here we see Harvey vaulting with Todd leading!
EASTER HOLIDAYS
Well, as you all know, the weather defeated just about everyone in the first week of the holidays, and we were no exception. Our rally at Alconbury had to be cancelled, but, luckily, in the second week, we had two very enjoyable rallies - one at Moats Way, and the other at Harlton, jumping over our own cross-country jumps! See Gallery for pics.

NEW DISTRICT COMMISSIONER
Jackie Hall is our new District Commissioner! Jackie has stood in as Acting DC several times, and has been Assistant DC for a number of years. We support her as she takes on even more work for the branch than she has done for years in the past! Jackie will continue to organise the rallies and the showjumping, as well as her new role.

DENGIE DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHOPS - MORETON MORRELL
Rosie and Alice came 10th and 9th respectively at the Championships! Here are the horses, getting a well-deserved pat! Well done girls! And thank you to Linda Rimmer, who has inspired the dressage riders all through the winter, to finally get this result!
AREA DRESSAGE - DENGIE QUALIFIER
We are delighted that two of our three dressage riders, who went forward the the Area Dressage Qualifier came first and second and will go forward to the Championships at Moreton Morrell! Congratulations to Rosie Lloyd, who won the whole competition, and to Alice Cuthill, who came second! Emily Procter, our third rider, also rode very well indeed, and is a strong contender for the future! The standard of riding was very high - indeed the judge remarked that it would be considered good at an affiliated competition - so this is a great achievement. see Results page
